Yuantai Zn-Al-Mg Steel Coil is a flat carbon steel product coated with zinc-aluminum-magnesium alloy on both sides through a continuous hot-dip galvanizing process. This alloy is composed of a combination of 1.5% magnesium, 2% aluminum and 3% magnesium with 6% aluminum or higher, this optimal chemistry chosen to provide the best corrosion resistance.
Yuantai ZMA offers a variety of steel grades suitable for different applications: steels for cold forming and deep drawing applications, structural steels and high-strength low alloy steels. The product material of Zn-Al-Mg Steel Coil is ZM30/S235, ZM275/S350.
Zinc in the coating provides sacrificial protection, and aluminum provides passivation protection. The addition of magnesium activates the aluminum element and reduces the consumption rate of the coating. The interior of the coating provides barrier protection, making the coating last longer than traditional electroplating. Particularly suitable for alkaline and acidic environments such as coastal areas.
Yuantai Derun Group has high-end and advanced acid regeneration production equipment and technology, recycling heavy metals such as chromium and nickel every year, and reducing the consumption of various new acids. The difficulty and cost of subsequent wastewater treatment are significantly reduced.
Over time, the coating components around the cutting surface will dissolve and form a dense protective film, which has a practical effect on inhibiting corrosion of the cutting surface.
The density of zinc-aluminum-magnesium coating is lower, which reduces the weight of steel and related costs. In rooftop PV mountings, no additional reinforcement of the roof is required.
