The National Convention and Exhibition Center (Tianjin) integrates exhibition, conference, business, office and hotel functions, with a total construction area of about 1.38 million square meters. It provides a large-scale international exhibition venue for the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration. Yuantai Derun Group supplies the structural tubes for the project. As an ideal place to hold large-scale heavy-duty exhibitions, the project has 4 heavy-duty exhibition halls with a maximum load of 8 tons. The single truss of the exhibition hall is 186 meters long, with a maximum span of 84 meters. The project team innovatively adopted the "Seagull"-style four-chord concave steel truss construction technology to improve the safety factor and speed up the installation progress. The fastest installation time for a group of exhibition halls is only 45 days. Taking into account the multiple exhibition requirements, the project set up a large swing door with a width of 6 meters and a height of 7.7 meters in the exhibition hall for direct entry and exit of trucks. It also created a truck waiting area with an area of 110,000 square meters for 600 containers. The car stopped at the same time.

The National Convention and Exhibition Center (Tianjin) adopts 100% prefabricated steel structure and uses more than 100 low-carbon, energy-saving and environmentally friendly technologies such as solar photovoltaic panels and ground source heat pumps. The overall energy consumption is reduced by 8% compared with traditional exhibition projects. The overall carbon The total emissions are reduced by more than 25% compared with other buildings.

In terms of the application of environmentally friendly technologies, the project team achieved carbon emission reduction through material optimization, energy consumption reduction, renewable energy utilization and other measures. The exhibition hall adopts a light-colored metal roof to avoid the heat island effect caused by concentrated heat absorption in the building; the roof is covered with solar photovoltaic panels and uses high-efficiency shingled photovoltaic components to achieve green electricity consumption; the site adopts a sunken green space design with the function of regulating rainwater. , achieving a total annual rainwater runoff control rate of 80%; using a ground source heat pump system to replace traditional energy, the energy supply accounts for about 21% of the total building load, and the carbon emissions are reduced by about 50% compared with gas boilers.
