Color-coated coil is based on cold-rolled steel coil and galvanized steel coil, through surface pretreatment (degreasing, cleaning, chemical conversion treatment), continuous coating (roller coating method), baking and cooling to make the product. The coating process is a critical step in the production of color-coated zinc-aluminum-magnesium coils, which directly affects the final coating quality and the durability of the product. Therefore, the coating process is very strict. With the continuous improvement of coating equipment and the development and utilization of new coatings, the production of color-coated zinc-aluminum-magnesium coils has become more mature, and the processing fee is also decreasing.
The general production process of coil coating has 5 steps, namely coil input, cleaning and chemical treatment, painting, curing and finished product output. The process layout and equipment composition of different situations are different, but the basic parts are the same.
1. Raw material coil input is that the unwinder continuously unwinds to ensure the continuous and stable input of the coil into the production line. Some adopt cross-rotating beam coiling machines, and some adopt double-stage front and back alternating unwinding machines. In short, it is to supply coils in time.
2. Surface cleaning and chemical treatment are to make the upper and lower surfaces of the aluminum coil clean and carry out chemical pretreatment to ensure that the paint can adhere firmly.
3. Painting. A production line has at least two roller coaters to ensure two layers of topcoat and primer.
4. The paint layer solidifies, which means that the newly painted roll must be solidified before contacting the next roller surface to avoid mutual adhesion and damage.
5. The finished product output ensures that the production line speed is synchronized with the transfer of the finished product roll.
