1. Planar corrosion resistance: High-aluminum-zinc-aluminum-magnesium coating has significantly better plane corrosion resistance than galvalume and hot-dip pure zinc. Under neutral salt spray test conditions, the time for red rust to appear on high-aluminum-zinc-aluminum-magnesium coatings is on average more than 50% longer than that of galvanized coatings of the same coating thickness. Under cyclic corrosion test conditions, the time for red rust to appear on the high-aluminum-zinc-aluminum-magnesium coating is nearly twice as long as that of the GL coating with the same coating thickness. For this aspect, Zn-al-mg Steel Coilis very suitable for guard rail applications.
2. High notch corrosion resistance: The notch corrosion resistance of aluminum-zinc-aluminum-magnesium coating is significantly better than that of galvanized coating. Under neutral salt spray test conditions, the greater the zinc ratio index, the greater the improvement in corrosion resistance of the high-aluminum-zinc-aluminum-magnesium coating over the notch of the aluminum-zinc coating.
3. Corrosion resistance of the cup. Under neutral salt spray test conditions, the red rust time of the cup made of high-aluminum-zinc-aluminum-magnesium coating is approximately twice that of galvanized coating.
4. Bending corrosion resistance: Under neutral salt spray test conditions, the corrosion resistance of high-aluminum-zinc-aluminum-magnesium coating after bending is approximately twice that of galvanized coating.
